INTO INSINCERE

The sun's a furious coffee stain, condescending on my fuzzy frown. Again, again.
Puts a fiendish hex upon me, may your wishing fountain pennies drown. Again, again.
Fall from your fear, swim through your tears. Fall from your fear, into insincere.
My confidence a burning bookmark, dissolving into ash between the page. That way, that way.
Clogging up the margin gutters, combining with the hues into old age. That way, that way.
Fall from your fear, swimming through tears. Soaking up beer, into insincere.
Cemetery dandelions, resurrect the infectious brilliance. Of you, of you.
Sentimenting through the pasture, spreading with nostalgic resilience. Of you, of you.
Swim through your tears, as they disappear. Fall into your fears, out of insincere.
