Fledgling songbird trapped in the green 

Silent screaming empty phrases 

Still as statue speckled heart 

Paralyzed talons transfixed 

In the trees in the clouds 

Incoming adolescence 

Overhead over lawn

Overcome apprehension 

Fledgling songbird deadpan rocking chair 

Ticking time away flowing flowing

Clock the corner light the ledge 

Flee the family mother father 

In the head in the heart 

In between integration 

Oversight over sound

Overall undergone

  How does it feel to be dealt a hand full of sardines and rusty nails?  Pinch yourself you might find that you hate the way you feel.  Frosted shoulder shoves your teeth into crooked interruption. Loop the handshake in reverse til we forget our introduction. Leaves falling like elevators, confetti the political desanguination. Your mouth is spitting bitter snow but everybody's changed the station. Scrape off the tears of rage and cultivate a garden of attrition. Feed the beast of kindness and pray it don't die of malnutrition. You think when the dust settles you'll ascend to the upper crust. But when all is dotted and crossed you'll only be left with dust. Elevator filled with fallen leaves, crisply blanket the fallow field. Throwing punches yards from the mark, it doesn't matter if you yield.

Because the rain fell cursively your face smudged like a love note Beat up by waves of white noise drowned in calm without a lifeboat Stiff upper kitchen chair, souls spiral up from mugs of coffee Without a point of view you feel just like a horseless jockey Moon slices up the mountain, serves it up like upside down cake Downstairs I dictionary up my nose until I earthquake Shove secret centuries in kitchen corners and old sock drawers Pick up the phone and on the other line is Turkish Star Wars Orphaned tarantula scurries along suburban sidewalk Pendulum can’t upset the obstinate grandfather clock Your birth certificate is printed on the sunrise pink clouds These inert history books are drained of everything but nouns Because the snow accumulates inside your empty eyelid Map collapses into itself, spits states into beehive dream grid These seeds are helicopters chopping logs along sunken shores Flip to the index see the entry labeled Turkish Star Wars Time laps
